    Chemical Rise is a small town band started by lead singer/guitarist Michael Cook Jr. The band consists of two members. They are: Michael Cook Jr. : Lead Singer/Guitarist Raely Qiu : Producer/ Publicist/background singer Our first album Tell a Story (iBand's 4th album, but we are now Chemical Rise SO 4GET iBAND!)comes out this winter just in time for Christmas, (though why anyone would give that album to somebody for a happy holiday is beyond us). We were signed onto the label Muse Records | A Division of SilverStar Media on June 8, 2007. Raely and Michael live in the city of Raleigh in North Carolina. We are both avid Harry Potter fans and we go to middle school. WE ROCK!!!!!!!!


    Michael was born in North Carolina and is now 13 years old. He sings the lead vocals and does the guitar for Chemical Rise. He writes the bulk of the band's songs and has a bit of a background in acting. He currently resides in Raleigh, NC and goes to school with Raely. Michael did work on a solo project a few years ago, but decided to go against it so he could be in Chemical Rise!!! He plans on going on tour over the summer with Raely as an opening act. His favorite bands/singerrs include: Green Day, Jonas Brothers, Panic! at the Disco, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, My Chemical Romance, 3 Doors Down, Aplogetix, Weird Al Yankovic, Guns 'N Roses, Queen, Naked Brothers Band, Plain White T's, and Fall Out Boy.


    Raely is the backup singer for Chemical Rise, which used to be iBand, which used to be Dumbledore's Army: The Band which was shortened to DA the Band. He is also the manager, and also has his own solo project. He loves to write, write music, sing, act, hang out with friends, and do geeky computer stuff! He currently lives in North Carolina, and was born in Minneasota (where most of his family resides). Favorite singers include Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff, Selena Gomez, Ashlee Simpson, Timbaland, Ashley Tisdale, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, and Carrie Underwood. He is newly thirteen years old, and was in a handfull of plays and musicals, his latest being The Fiddler on the Roof. He designed this website.
